SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
If you ever heard of the saying ‘If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it – does it make a sound? Well, this is a similar analogy for SEO (or Search Engine Optimisation). Without a bespoke SEO strategy, you may be missing out on your target market and ultimately losing out on potential sales.
Bespoke SEO Strategy and climbing to the top of Google
How do I get to the top of Google is one of the first questions we get asked. Below is the three key area’s that can help you rise to the top of Google if used effectively.
- Pay Per Click – Go to Google and type in ‘plumbers’ – The first 4 results come up with a little box that says ‘Ad’ just underneath the title – This means that the company have paid google to be at the very top of that particular keyword search. This can be expensive. Whilst this is an effective way of achieving your target, you need to ensure you have a budget to match.
- Organic Search – This can take between 4-6 months for you hit the first page of google. If you are working to a tight budget and happy to allow your website to develop over the long term, then Organic search is the way to go.
- Local Search – Ranking highly in ‘Local Search’ is becoming increasing more important. Google / Search Engines use the users location to pin point the best matches locally for the search keyword(s).
Maybe you’re website isn’t generating the sales that you had hoped for? Or you want to find out a little more about your customers and what search terms they are using to find your website?
